Low-Carbon and Positive Energy Resilient Communities

We are pleased to invite you to a Webinar on October 12, 2021 organized by the Concordia Centre for Zero Energy Building Studies (CZEBS) and the Canadian Academy of Engineering (CAE) on Low-Carbon and Positive Energy Resilient Communities as part of the CAE Roadmap to Resilient Ultra-Low Energy Built Environment with Deep Integration of Renewables in 2050.

Webinar objective: The webinar will focus on lessons learned and experiences from existing and ongoing developments in high profile low-carbon and positive energy communities in Canada and Europe and informing the CAE Roadmap on the current status and future opportunities and challenges.

The webinar builds on our Roadmap Symposium held in 2020, with the proceedings published here.

Several of the presentations are linked to IEA Annex 83 and IEA Task 63.

A report/paper will be prepared based on the webinar and discussions for the CAE Roadmap.

The program is attached here.

The Roadmap is expected to be completed by the end of 2022, including a policy-focused Symposium.
