Induction Ceremony of New Fellows

AGM and Symposium: Ottawa Conference and Event Centre, 200 Coventry Road, Ottawa, Ontario

The one-day event will commence with the symposium keynote session “The Role of the NEB in a Future Energy System” presented by Peter Watson FCAE, Chair and CEO of the National Energy Board. The AGM (CAE Fellows only) will take place over lunch from 12:20 – 14:00.  A full schedule of speakers and events is listed below.

The Induction of New Fellows ceremony will take place at the Canadian Aviation and Space Museum with a cocktail hour commencing at 17:30.  We have arranged transportation between  the Conference Centre and the Aviation museum. The Induction Ceremony will begin at 18:30 followed by dinner, then speaker Frank Graves, President of national polling firm EKOS Research will address the topic “Canadian Attitudes Towards Energy.”

To defray the meal costs, the following fees will be charged:

  • AGM and Symposium – $40 per person
  • Induction Ceremony per Fellow and Guest – $155 per person
  • AGM, Symposium and Induction Ceremony – $195 per person

For those traveling to Ottawa, a special rate has been negotiated with two hotels located adjacent to the Ottawa Conference and Event Centre; the Hampton Inn and The Marriott.
