Doug Hooton is the 2013 Robert E. Philleo Award winner from the American Concrete Institute (ACI). The award, given by the ACI Foundation Concrete Research Council, honours exemplary teaching, research and service to the profession in the areas of durability of concrete, properties of concrete-making materials and preparation of standards and specifications.
