Afzal Suleman, PhD, PEng., FCAE, Canada Research Chair and Professor of Aerospace Engineering and Director, Center for Aerospace Research at the University of Victoria was the guest of honour at a recent joint meeting of the EIC and CSSE in Victoria, BC. He made a presentation on Unmanned Air Vehicles: Experimental Evaluation and Validation of Novel Aircraft Designs. At the meeting, CAE Directors Ken Putt and Colin Smith presented Dr. Suleman with his CAE Fellowship certificate. He was elected a Fellow in 2014.
